Window Cleaning

We charge a minimum of $135 and up to $350 for a half day of window cleaning. That is capped at four hours. Most days are split into a morning or afternoon appointment that typically starts at 8am to 12pm and then 1pm to 5pm.

Residential Window Cleaning Price Guide

Most companies will quote their window cleaning service based on numbers of windows alone. This is very inaccurate, after all some windows are easier to clean than others, some are easier to reach than others, some are small, some are large.

When quoting, we look at many different factors, including: the number, size, and condition of windows. Are flyscreens to be cleaned?

We also look at access issues including number of ladder movements, roof access etc.

Below are the prices for an average window clean. All Prices are excluding GST

Small House/Unit – Single Level, 2-3 Bedrooms, House/Unit

External only - $60-$80 External + Internal - $100-$140

Medium Size House – Single Level, 3-4 Bedrooms, House/Apartments

External only - $100-$120 External + Internal $140-$180

Multi-Level House – Multiple Level, 3-4 Bedroom, Townhouses

External only - $100- $160 External + Internal - $200 – $300

Large Multi-Level House – Large Houses, 4+ Bed Rooms, Multiple Levels

External only from $160+ External + Internal from $300+

Pressure Washing

Like other trade professionals, pressure cleaning companies base their rates on time and materials, adding a profit margin to that.

At MWC&PW, we charge by the square metre, with different charges applying to different surfaces.

Our experience has taught us that some surfaces require more care and time than others and we charge accordingly.

Pressure cleaning costs can be confusing, because we may charge as much to clean 10 square metres as we charge for 30 square metres.

This is because travel and set-up times are factored into the overall costs.

As the job gets larger, the cost of pressure cleaning comes down proportionately.

Expect typical quotes to be in the region of:

$165 incl. GST for 1-30 square metres

$200 incl. GST for 40 square metres

$220 incl. GST for 50 square metres

$350 incl. GST for 100 square metres

The price also depends on the area to be cleaned.

As a rough guide expect to pay:

$250 incl. GST for a concrete driveway

$220 incl. GST for patio paving

$385 incl. GST for the exterior of your home

$200 incl. GST for a patio roof
